Security Labels

Security labels are specialised tamper-evident stickers for packages to indicate when a consignment (such as a carton or pallet) has been opened or tampered with. There are two main types of label: residue security labels (AKA 'permanent tamper evident' labels) leave a total transfer void message on the application surface, as well as through the surface of the label itself; whereas non-residue labels (AKA 'no transfer' or 'low residue' labels) only leave a void message though the surface of the label itself. Destructible (or 'frangible') labels are another option - these labels do not remove in one-piece; removal attempts will cause cracking and fragmentation of the label material, making tamper attempts obvious.

Security labels are used in many scenarios to increase the tamper-evident security of sealed cartons, pallets and packages - particularly in the pharmaceutical, electronic and food/drink sectors. They are available in standard off-the-shelf options or completely bespoke for your needs, which has the added benefit of raising the profile and reputation of your brand.
